Summer is here and not only means to RVers main tourist season is upon us, but so is the heat. If you ever went in a camper that is in direct sunlight in a hot summer day, you know what I mean. Fortunately, there are some things we do to make our summer RV camping is more enjoyable.

Strategically park your RV to take advantage of any shade that is available to take, especially on the side where the fan refrigerator. Do not hesitate to ask for a non-shady place at the time of check-in camping. This will not only help cool the RV down, but your refrigerator and roof A / C will work much more efficiently.

You can also use your air conditioning efficiency by cleaning the filter A / C. In most cases, you can wash the filters with warm water and soap, and allow to dry thoroughly before reinstalling. Another option is to clean the filter with a small portable vacuum cleaner. I advise you to hold a new series available forWith the old filters have seen better days.

Use to support your main tent and all the window blinds in the cooling system for the campers. In addition to your curtains with blinds or curtains to the sun and the cooler air in

Camping voltage may vary, particularly during the summer months, when their motor home to run the A / C, an increase in demand for electricity on the camp. You should come to power in your RV with a digital voltmeter. If the voltage dropsin 105-volt or 130-volt appliances over and turn off electronic devices until the correct voltage is restored.

Install a thermostat refrigerator vent fan at the back of the refrigerator, or at the top of the skylight in order to draw the hot air out of the refrigerator to help. If you are mechanically inclined these fans are fairly easy to install, or you can use your RV dealer install it for you. In any case, it's worth it. The fan dissipates the heat integratedbehind the refrigerator to improve cooling performance by up to 40%.

Another part of the house, your RV is great for adequate ventilation. Adequate ventilation helps prevent excess heat from the building in your RV. Maxx air vent covers, you can be on the roof hatches for ventilation. They are inexpensive, easy to install and they let the fresh air, even if it rains while stale air and mold, smoke, cooking odors and heat to escape. I use a fan shroud on eachEnd of our campers to promote cross ventilation.

To help keep the inside of the RV trying to avoid cold, opening the door as possible and cook inside and out, whenever possible.

Take a couple of small fans to help with your back, the air. If you do, for whatever reason, the A / C you will be happy to have them.

If all else fails head to leave the campsite and pool cooling off.

Camping happy!
